My Story
I'm a mindfulness coach and speaker with over a decade of strategic planning experience gained through my work with HR management consultancies, nonprofit organizations, and the U.S. federal government. Passionate about self-development, I’m constantly expanding my wellness toolkit, which includes certifications in meditation teaching and health coaching.
As an empathic teenager, I struggled with depression along with the normal awkwardness associated with coming of age. I remember often being mad at the world for one reason or another as I sat in the back seat of my parent's car. Noticing me in deep thought, my mother would point out the clouds to me. She would mention how one cloud looked like Mickey Mouse ears, or another looked like a cat. Wanting to hold on to my disgruntled disposition, I would reluctantly take a look.
For some reason, I couldn't help but look up to weigh in on the matter. Did that cloud have Mickey Mouse ears? Each time I looked up, I realized how big the world was compared to the thoughts in my head and my current view. I realized there would be so much more to discover if I could ever walk among the clouds.
Let's take a walk on the clouds.
